The Coral Garden Info

For size reference each frag has been grown on a 28mm diameter frag plug and has completely encrusted the plug.Corals are grown under 54w T5s using a 50:50 mixture of standard 6500k daylight tubes and Osram blue tubes.

For colour reference photos are taken under a 36W Marinereefled Quad spec Par 38 Bulb This LED unit contains 6 Royal Blue - 4 Cool White - 1 Warm White - 1 Fiji Purple 3w cree chips

 

Making a Purchase

Making a purchase couldnt be easier. Just browse our website, select the products you wish to purchase and press the Add to basketbutton. When you have finished shopping go to Checkout where you can choose your preferred delivery date. Shipping costs are shown in the shopping cart and all major debit/credit cards are accepted. We offer two secure payments systems, Global payments/HSBC and PayPal, to give you the widest coverage of card types.

Delivery Information

We aim to dispatch all non-live stock items within one working day of receiving a customers order.

For livestock deliveries please select a preferred delivery date upon checkout. If you wish to receive the corals by the next day, the transaction must be completed by 1pm. We know that fast delivery is important to you, we use commercial carriers and we rely on you to be available to accept courier deliveries. For livestock deliveries we use an overnight courier service experienced in transporting live animals, occasionally for smaller orders, non-UK mainland customers or

Saturday delivery for livestock is by special request ONLY and an additional charge will be required (please see delivery charges below.) We do not deliver over bank holidays

For all other items we use Royal Mail First Class Delivery or Royal Mail Recorded, First Class Delivery depending on the value of goods.

Delivery Charges

0-4 corals UK Mainland Only Delivery costs per 0-4 corals and is £15 to UK mainland. 5-20 corals costs £20. All other items are charged according to weight and the total shipping cost is shown in the shopping cart. Livestock and non-livestock delivery costs will be calculated separately as they cannot be shipped together.

Saturday delivery will incur an additional charge of £5 for 0-4 corals (total payable £20) or £15 for 5-12 corals (total payable £30.) If a Saturday delivery is requested then this charge must be paid before 1pm the Friday before the requested delivery day. Failure to make this payment will result in the corals not being dispatched.

For non-UK mainland customers, please contact us for delivery.

Stock Availability

All items shown on the website are usually in stock. If any item is not in stock we will contact you within one working day of receiving your order.

Livestock delivery

Delivery time for corals is guaranteed pre 1pm for the majority of the UK. A person must be present to sign for the delivery on the arranged delivery date. If no person is present to sign for coral deliveries then all guarantees of healthy coral delivery, replacements or refunds are nullified.

Non live stock delivery All non-coral delivery items that are sent by Royal Mail recorded delivery require a signature. If no person is present on delivery to provide a signature, Royal Mail will leave a card and return the item to their sorting office. The card can be used to arrange a redelivery time with Royal Mail or collect the item from the Royal Mail sorting office. Royal Mail will hold the item at their sorting office for 14 days after which the undelivered item will be returned to us. We will then attempt to contact you to arrange a redelivery. Redelivery may incur a further delivery charge. If we are unable to contact you then we will refund the cost of the products. Postage and packing will not be refunded.

Change of Delivery Address

The delivery address that you provide on your order is the address we will deliver to. If you wish to change the delivery address please ensure that you notify us in writing prior to dispatch.

Please note that to change a delivery address once your order has been dispatched is chargeable.

Cancellation Policy

The contract between us is only created once we send you the products you ordered and not before. You have the right to cancel an order within 14 working days of receipt. You must return the goods to us in new and unused condition in line with our Returns Policy. We must receive the goods within 21 days of the notice of cancellation during which time you are responsible for any loss or damage. Once received in new and unused condition we will refund the purchase price less the original carriage and packing charges. Livestock must be returned in the condition in which they are received. If you are returning corals to us then you must contact us on the day of delivery and provide photographs of the corals in their shipping containers on the day of delivery.

Replacement Policy

If faulty non-live stock received you must notify us within 7 working days. Where possible replacement parts will be dispatched and where not possible we will ask you to return the goods to us in line with our Returns Policy. Once we have verified the damage we will supply replacements as required. Where goods returned to us are in good working order we are not able to refund your return postage costs and we reserve the right to deduct our original postage cost and a restocking fee from any refund.

Manufacturers Guarantees

We work with the manufactures to ensure their guarantees are honored and we use best endeavors to resolve issues within the warranty period. We can only refund postage costs under the manufactures guarantee if the goods are returned to us within 7 days of the original purchase. We can only offer replacements parts or replacement goods when authorised by the manufacture. Under no circumstances should goods be returned to us without prior approval.

Returns Policy

DOA “Dead on arrival” Policy

If there is a problem upon delivery with any livestock delivered you must contact us as soon as possible and provide photographs of the coral still in its shipping bag by 6pm on the day of delivery. If necessary we may also request a photo of the coral be sent to us out of the shipping bag so that we can ascertain the condition of the coral. If a package received looks like it has been mishandled please also provide photographic evidence as well as to make a note of the time of arrival.

We currently offer a 24-hour guarantee on all livestock. Should any issues arise within 24 hours of receipt of the livestock please contact us immediately, you have until 6pm the day following receipt of goods to contact us and provide evidence of any issues.

In both situations claims without photographs or those taken where the coral is not still attached to the substrate/plug on which it was grown on will not be considered. We may ask you to retain the coral for our inspection should it be required. If a claim is upheld then we will either send you a replacement or refund the value of the livestock. We do not accept 24-hour returns for livestock unless it is completely dead and evidence has been provided by 6pm the day following the livestock being received.

Goods have to be returned to us at your expense. It is important that you obtain proof of posting, as the goods are your responsibility until we receive them. We can only refund postage costs if non-coral goods are returned within 7 days of purchase under the Replacement Policy. You should use the cheapest postage method available, as we are not able to refund the cost of any special delivery service. We cannot refund postage for goods returned for any other reason and we reserve the right to deduct our original postage cost and a restocking fee from any refund applicable.

Some pictures on the website will be stock photos so we cannot guarantee that the animal that you receive with look exactly the same unless we state this in the description. Corals may temporarily sulk and slightly lose colour, this does not mean that they are not healthy so if you have any questions please call us. We reserve the right to refuse returns unless for a reason stated above

Pricing

We make every effort to ensure the prices are correct but we can sometimes make a mistake. If we notice a price mistake before we dispatch something you have ordered, we will ask if you want to pay the correct price or cancel your order. If we do not hear from you, we will cancel your order. We reserve the right to change prices listed without notice. All orders for products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company.

Stock photos

Most of pictures on the website will be stock photos, although we try our best to get them as close as possible in terms of size, colour and growth form but cannot guarantee that the animal that you receive with look exactly the same unless we state that this is a WYSIWYG (“what you see is what you get”) in the description. If this has not been stated WYSIWYG please assume that this is a stock photo.
